2009 - 2014
Located in the heart of Dubai in Old Town, the Burj Khalifa stands at 828m tall and is the tallest building in the world, with 167 mixed-use floors comprising hotel, commercial, residential and leisure facilities, all in one unique environment.
The tower was awarded to ENGIE Solutions in 2009 to commence services as part of the pre-opening and handover from construction to operations. As part of this project, ENGIE Solutions supported the client property team by assisting in the closing out of snags prior to the structuring of the maintenance service delivery.
Scope of Work
Managed by Emaar Properties, the contract for the Burj Khalifa included interim handover services and a 5-year service contract from 2009-2014, to undertake the operations and maintenance of the electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems in the tower.
Our team of around 120 technicians, engineers and managers operated 24/7 to ensure the tower was maintained to world-class standards. In this extremely high profile environment, ENGIE Solutions provided an effective, seamless and unobtrusive daily reactive, corrective and preventive maintenance to the complex facility.
