Our client, Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA), wanted to address challenges related to diversifying energy sources, improving air quality, promoting sustainable transportation, enhancing energy security, fostering technological innovation, and creating economic opportunities – EV chargers play a vital role in supporting Qatar’s transition to a cleaner and more sustainable transportation system.
With ENGIE’s Sustainable Mobility Solution, KAHRAMAA was able to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 10,300 tonnes per annum. This was achieved by installing 100 electric vehicle chargers at various locations in Qatar with ENGIE Solutions’ systems-based approach in sustainable mobility that combines skills and expertise in alternative fuels, and transport infrastructures.
