Summary
Umm Al Houl Power is an independent water and power producer, established in 2015 and capable of generating 2,520 megawatt of power plus 136.5 million gallon drinking water per day.
The project is a collaboration between several partners, namely Qatar Electricity and Water Company, K1 Energy (Mitsubishi Corporation and JERA J/V), Qatar Petroleum, and Qatar Foundation. Umm Al Houl Power is a key part of Qatar National Vision 2030.
ENGIE Cofely Mannai Facility Management (ECMFM) was awarded the Umm Al Houl Power Plant contract for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance services at Umm Al Houl Power. ECMFM provides all aspects of services associated with the management, operations and maintenance services.
Scope of Work
The scope of service includes preventive maintenance, corrective works, repairs and troubleshooting of all the equipment including the mechanical, electrical and I&C systems, such as HVAC PLC network architecture comprising of HVAC panels, and water block, maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC HMI system including programming, operation and maintenance/monitoring of PLC at Power Island and Water Island.
